Personal Branding Photography in Vancouver

Art-directed portraits and brand imagery for founders, executives, realtors, and creative professionals who need to look like the business they’ve actually built.

Most personal branding photography looks like a headshot session with better lighting. This isn’t that. Every session starts with a concept, a location, and a plan for where the images are going to live. You leave with a library you can run for a year, not four files you use once and quietly replace.

Trusted by professionals across Metro Vancouver

A headshot shows your face. A personal brand shows your business.

A headshot answers one question: what do you look like. That’s a real job, and it has a real place. Personal branding photography answers the harder one — what is it like to work with you.

That means images of you in the room where the work happens. Your hands on the product. The studio, the kitchen, the site, the boardroom. Details that carry your business without your face in frame. Verticals for stories, wides for a website header, quiet frames that hold text.

A full brand shoot in Vancouver typically produces 40 to 80 finished images across three to five looks and settings. That’s a website, a quarter of social, a deck, a press kit, and a speaker profile out of one day.

Images with intention.

Who I shoot for

Executives, founders, and consultants

You’re raising, hiring, speaking, or selling, and your current photo is a cropped wedding guest shot from 2019. Executive portraits and founder portraits that hold up in a pitch deck, a board bio, and a conference program.

Realtors, brokers, and client-facing professionals

Agents, mortgage brokers, financial advisors, and lawyers. In this business people choose you before they’ve met you, and the photo is the meeting. Portraits plus the on-location and lifestyle frames that fill listings, signage, and a year of posts.

Hospitality, food, and lifestyle brands

Chefs, hotel operators, restaurateurs, and product founders. Brand photography that puts the person and the place in the same frame, shot to the standard your rooms and plates already meet.

Creators, coaches, and creative professionals

Influencers, designers, stylists, agency owners, and anyone whose face is the product. Editorial portrait work with enough range to fill a content calendar without repeating yourself by week three.

If you need one clean corporate portrait and nothing else, the headshot sessions are the faster, cheaper answer. I’d rather send you there than oversell you a brand shoot.

What a personal branding photoshoot includes

Every engagement is scoped to what you’re actually launching. The spine is always the same.

Brand and visual strategy call. Where the images are going, who they’re speaking to, what they need to say. This is the part most sessions skip, and it’s the reason most sessions produce unusable images.

Concept, location, and shot list. Mood direction, wardrobe guidance, and a written shot list before anyone picks up a camera. You approve it in advance.

Directed session. You will be told where to put your hands. Nobody is expected to know how to pose, and I don’t leave people standing there guessing.

Editorial retouching. Colour and finish matched across the full set, so the library reads as one body of work instead of a folder of unrelated files.

Delivered for use. Web, print, and social crops, delivered through Playbook, licensed and organized so your team can actually find things.

Frequently asked questions

How is personal branding photography different from a headshot?

A headshot is one strong portrait of your face. A personal branding session produces a full library — portraits, environmental images, details, and lifestyle frames — built around what your business needs to publish over the next year. If you only need the portrait, book a headshot session instead.
